My 48 hours of summer

I promised to share with you good photo memories from my recent trip in Quezon so here it is.

Okay, so being the South person that I am, I slept over at my best friend's house the night before we left for Lucena, but before that I went to Greenhills shopping center with Joyce for our last minute summer shopping. Since we are leaving pretty early we asked Sam, our friend to sleep over too so that no one will be late. So here it is, Sam came over that night at around 10-ish I guess and we all stayed up until it's time for us to get going and pack up.

April 25, this is it we are ready to go and make good memories together. At around 5:30, we are complete and the beautiful bus is all set to go...

On the way
Stop over (Franz, Angelle and me)

After 5 hours on the road, we finally reached our destination. We waited for Ariane and we headed to their house in Lucena for a quick stop over before heading to Polo beach.

We rented a jeepney

On the way
The jeepney ride took us 1 hour and a half before reaching Polo Beach and this is where the epic trip started. Truly the famous line "Expect the Unexpected" came to life. Why?

We need to cross this small body of water in order to get to the beach

Angelle, Ariane, Sam, Gwenn and Mil (1st batch) to cross
Boat ride with Franz, Jaimie, Joyce and Biboy
After the 5 minute boat ride, we have to trek for about 10-15 minutes. But what made the trekking part exciting is that it's high tide so we need to be careful just not to fall into the water.

Look at us :))

Trekking part 2
Here we go...

After that adventure finally

Polo Beach
We are all speechless by the beauty of beach. We really had fun under the sun. We played frisbee and cards and of course booze time by the beach.

Enjoy the photos:

Hi there, Sam :)

Hello there, Joycie :)
<3
With the Lucena boy, Biboy
I seriously love the water :)

Franz and Biboy tried cliff diving but we didn't get to take photos of them because we are so rattled and nervous but nonetheless, they made it! :)

What happens in Polo Beach stays in Polo Beach. Next stop: GRACELAND.

Hollaaa! Grand Staircase :)
Nice interiors
Me, Ariane, Sam and Angelle :)
We rented two condo rooms because we are big in number.
Bonding over the tiger inspired couch
Feels like home :)
We obviously had a good sleep together because they had comfy beds and lots of pillows :)

The morning after that night made us enjoy the company of each other more. We ate breakfast together and stroll around the country club and I tell you, the place is captivating. They offer plenty of activities that both families and friends would definitely enjoy.

Biking
So we, rented bikes and enjoy the whole afternoon together. :) Me and Joyce also went to their playground and yes we felt like a kid once again :)

Hours after we freshen up and we are about to leave Quezon, it was a bittersweet feeling for all of us. We wanted to stay longer but we only booked for 2 days.

Ariane, thank you so much for helping us out in Quezon. We owe you a lot. :) And thanks for letting  us appreciate the beauty of your place. Extend my regards to Biboy :)

Group photo, even though it's blurred thank you kuya for taking our photo :)
Goodbye, Quezon til we meet again :)

Definitely, we truly enjoyed our stay and truly had the best 48 hours of our Summer 2012.

All set to go...

After a long discussion with friends finally we are all set to go tomorrow for our summer trip :) Being the planner I've stressed myself out on finding a good deal and package for all of us. This includes a good destination and fitting our schedules so that no one will be left behind.

Okay, here's a photo on where we are heading tomorrow morning

Polo Beach, just grabbed the photo from Ariane, thanks! :)

Another photo from Ariane

We'll be leaving early tom and I promise to take good photo memories of my summer 2012 once I'm back :)

Hope you're all having a good summer. It's not too late to plan your summer destination. :)

Out on a sunny Tuesday

Out on a Tuesday with friends because we can't stay home any longer. After the blessed holy week of being with our respective families we finally got to meet up again and hang out.
So, off we went to Greenhills, had our late lunch at Won ton where they serve yummy Chinese cuisine. I ordered their famous Yang Chow rice and their best seller Salt and pepper spare ribs.

Salt and Pepper Spare ribs

We didn't get to take good photos of our orders because of our hungry tummies.
but nonetheless, we are so full and happy.

Me and Joyce

After pigging out, we went strolling for our upcoming beach trip. I am in search for a new bikini but not knowing all the bazaars in GH are out and so we went to Theater Mall to check out boutiques and because my two companions are so not into walking and window shopping we went to Happy Lemon to grab ourselves a good thirst quencher drinks perfect for a sunny summer day.

I think we are the longest staying customers inside Happy Lemon because we stayed there for about 4 hours? haha! why 4 hours? it's because we waited for my best friend, Angelle who just came from a job interview in Makati. Staying in Happy Lemon for 4 hours made me overdose myself with milk tea's

After hours of waiting for my best friend...

Angelle, Me and Franz

Oh, what is funny during our stay in Happy Lemon was how they misspelled my nickname. The first was named "SHOVEN" and the next order was named "SHOVE" I really don't get on how they misspelled my name because I even spelled it for them. Oh well, that made our afternoon extra laugh trip!

Another thing is that while we were outside, we saw Armi Millare of Up Dharma Down but we are not sure if it's her because she had no make-up and all but really wanted to say Hi. So being the curious us, we tweeted Armi the day after and...

and she tweeted me back, super fan girl mode :)

Our sunny afternoon ended so well, we got our photos taken in Timezone. We spent 200 pesos for our neo prints? I am not really sure on what is the photo being called. But it was so fun doodling and smiling inside the photo booth.

Being with them is such crazy and fun as always. I love you girls. :)
